“A perfect symbol for the hubris of its creator. Cobb may be dead and buried, but that tower will stand as a monument to an evil that tore the world asunder.” – High Inquisitor Aust Amastacia
Raised from the plains of Garrick by powerful magics, Cobb’s tower is a masterful work of engineering, a conduit of power with its base at the intersection of the world’s leylines and its top in the heavens, beyond the eyes of mortal men. In the halls of this impossible bastion, Cobb raised armies of orcs, wove the spell that smote the Imperium into dust, and nearly shattered the earth with his final burst of power. Since Cobb’s defeat at the hands of the three great heroes, his tower has lain abandoned. Many have journeyed to the tower, hoping to get their hands on Cobb’s power, or at least some of his riches, but no one who has entered has ever left again. Fearing the powerful magics that might be unleashed from the tower, the government of Garrick has declared all lands within ten miles forbidden upon penalty of death.
